Netflix's Animated Hit
"KPop Demon Hunters," a tale about a K-pop girl group, Huntrix, secretly battling underworld monsters, has become Netflix's most-watched animated feature. Its soundtrack has consistently ranked within the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Sources confirm that Netflix and Sony Animation are exploring the possibility of a sequel.
Chart-Topping Success
Huntrix's music achieved significant milestones in August, dethroning Alex Warren's long-held No. 1 position on the charts. After a brief shift, the song reclaimed the top spot for eight consecutive weeks. Although temporarily displaced by Taylor Swift's dominance, it has since rebounded to No. 3. Several other tracks from the soundtrack are also making waves on the Hot 100. "Your Idol" and "Soda Pop," performed by the fictional boy group Saja Boys, are currently ranked at No. 19 and No. 20, respectively, while "How It's Done," another Huntrix hit, sits at No. 25. Several other songs from the album are also enjoying chart success.
